Recurring periodic inspection

Recurring periodic inspections are mandatory as part of the approval requirements. The objective is to identify potential damage and eliminate hazards emanating from the wind turbine. The inspection must be carried out at regular intervals by experts on the machine and rotor blades as well as on the supporting structure (tower and accessible areas of the foundations). The inspection intervals result from the expert opinions of the plant.

Recurring periodic inspection on wind turbines

Our quality standards have always driven us in this work. After all, work on wind turbines requires the utmost caution. Recurring periodic inspections make the technical risk of your wind turbines controllable and repairs more predictable in the long term - and guarantee high energy availability.

State-of-the-art methods such as condition monitoring, video endoscopy and drone technology are used to determine the status of your wind turbine. Final reports document the current plant or component condition and provide you with useful recommendations for action.

The following services are included in the "recurring periodic inspection", depending on the customer's requirements:

  • Document review
  • Plant inspection (exterior and interior)
  • Scope of inspection: foundation, tower, nacelle and transformer station
  • Evaluation and recommendations for action

We will be happy to advise you on our range of services.
